Dr. Oliver Tolmein
I have been admitted as an attorney at law at the Hamburg Regional Court. However, I can also represent your interests in courts throughout Germany.
As a lecturer for social and disability law at Lüneburg University, I am able to keep a critical eye on the latest developments in my fields of law. Furthermore, I regularly publish papers and articles on current legal issues in specialist magazines, law journals and in the media, above all in Westdeutsche Rundfunk, Deutschlandfunk and Frankfurter Allgemeine Zeitung (F.A.Z.). In addition I have written several books and produced a number of documentary films.

2004 Doctorate conferred at Institut für Kriminalwissenschaften der Universität Hamburg (Institute for Criminology at Hamburg University) on the subject of "Right of self-determination and inability to give consent. Withdrawal of artificial feeding in the case of patients in a vegetative state in a legal comparison."
2001 IPPNW/physicians in social responsibility award for radio reporting on bioethics.
